This recorded training was part of our 2022 Advanced Facilitation Webinar Series. These trainings linked together the aspects listed on the Equality wheel, victim/survivor’s experience, and how our roles as facilitators provide an opportunity for change.

Facilitating a process involving the aspects of Equality listed on the wheel requires more than simply focusing on what the abuser says they do to attempt to create a violent free culture with their partner. The importance of understanding how your group members define the terms on the Equality wheel coupled with understanding the how their past use of violence influences not only their decisions but, their partner’s as well can significantly impact the conversations taking place within your groups.
